WHAT IS IPv4?
IPv4 is the fourth version of the Internet Protocol (IP) and is responsible for most of the traffic through the internet. It uses 32-bit addresses which is limited; for this reason /IPV6|IPv6 was commissioned however the transition is by no means immediate.
